So I'd actually never heard of Capitol Reef National Park before I planned out the trip, but Chris (one of our echo techs) raved about it, so we made a little more time for it and it was definitely worth it. Despite being so close to Bryce Canyon, it was totally different. The reddish rocks forming giant cliffs with lush orchards between. We hiked the Chimney Rock Trail, Natural Bridge, Grand Wash, and Cassidy Arch trails totaling 12 miles for the day. This is the point in the trip where we really started pushing ourselves in terms of the hiking.
